Respect The "Quiet" Hours

When you first thought about going into business for yourself, did you spend a lot of time doing some quiet time thinking?  During that time, did you dream of how you would do certain things?  Did you think about what your business would look like?  Did you imagine how well your business would perform?  Was it a website business?  Was it a brick and mortar venture?  Was it a new discovery?  Was it a new way to provide an old service?  Was it a new way to combine several products together in an environment that you felt people would be open to accept?

These were great moments of "quiet" time.  "Quiet" time is so important.  We live in such a noisy world.  Faster the pace, more the noise.  And as we begin the trek to build our business model we get involved with all of the things we need to do.  Working this and that as we make sure every part is doing what we want it to do.  And before you can feel it, "quiet" time is completely gone.  Who has time for "quiet" time?  We have all of the billion things we need to do in our business that is not getting done.  We have our family and friends to acknowledge, too.  We have life and its ups and downs to serve, as well.  Who has time for "quiet" time?

You do.

Every great business provider has learned how to find time for "quiet" time.  Time set aside for mindful resting and mindful work that is smooth, soft, comfortable and creative is essential for helping you to become a great operator of your business model.  If you do not select "quiet" time as a component of importance to become one of your most valuable assets you might likely burn out eventually.  You will certainly miss many unbelievable and subtle opportunities that do not shout out their existence.  Most of the great business ideas often times whisper before their noise is recognized.  A "quiet" moment will discover them long before the noise of the world drowns them out.  Learn to give those subtle opportunities a chance.  Some will become your greatest efforts in how your business succeeds.  They often times do not appear with a loud bang.  If you have been in business for any length of time you will agree that some of your greatest thoughts came from some very "quiet" moments.  You will also notice that these thoughts found their way into becoming some of your best business moves.  Do not discount the importance of producing a pattern to afford yourself time slots dedicated to "quiet" time.

Also know this...there are many powerful obstacles in place as well as those that will arrive when you try to find some "quiet" time.  It is also your position and responsibility to manage those interruptions well enough to have them respect the "quiet" time you need.  As a small child, I hated naps.  Wow, do I enjoy them now.  Just prior to a great discovery, you will find it came from some moments you had next to some clear silence and peaceful thinking.  Once in awhile, get rid of the noise of thought and turn it down into something very valuable..."quiet" time.

Develop some form of routine structure to allow you time in your busy life to enjoy "quiet" time.  The trick to making this work well for you is to make sure it becomes enjoyable.  Rest your vibrating internal engine long enough to be at peace with your surroundings.  Allow the silence to become real.  Many of you do not know what this kind of effort is like.
Some Of The Great Secrets To Success Are Very Silent
If so, you are missing one of the great secrets to performing one of the best and most extraordinary components to producing success in a business.

Find a time slot...sound familiar?  Find a time slot and protect that slot enough to allow it to mature.

I am an early riser in the morning.  I do not need an alarm clock.  I am up when it is still dark, regardless of the season.  I am ready to slay the world and I have a need to get going.  I travel to the space I built for my "quiet" time and go there to find myself.  Once I have found myself for the morning, I permit my mind to go on its search to think about whatever it wants to think about.  Most of the time, nothing really great occurs.  However, every now and then, some magical moments occur.  Inside those magical moments comes some seeds of what have become incredibly great choices in my business career.  At first they did not look as well as they have become.  The real trick to this process is that they appeared in my mind first.  They came at the most "quiet" and inconspicuous moments of mindful resting.  The creation of "quiet" time moments were part of the overall effort to make the ground in my mind fertile enough to accept different ideas and thought processes.  This kind of business development is very difficult to do in our noisy world.  You will benefit greatly if you learn how to develop these "quiet" time moments in your daily, weekly or monthly business structure.

Parade your great thoughts later...but at first, allow them to whisper well enough to give them proper attention.  They will speak loud enough when you prepare them well enough.  Listen to the "quiet" moments.

We are still waiting to hear from our first case study business.  They are dealing with so many obstacles that they are obviously overwhelmed and somewhat afraid to share their position of life, even anonymously.  When the time comes, they will begin the climb to repair the business piece by piece.  We are also working to develop an opportunity with another business model to participate.  It is so difficult to turn in and accept help.  We will drive that car around the block seven times looking for the right sign.  The signs will be the same ones we saw last trip around...on every turn.  Until we pull over to get some help, we may drive until we run out of gas.  Maybe that is why we always stop at filling stations for directions?
